Xaodor has added semi-automated assembly equipment alongside its four existing production lines.
Xaodor has added semi-automated assembly equipment at its Kashgar factory, alongside four existing production lines. The equipment supports selected assembly operations in combination with manual work.
The factory makes several types of small appliances. Parts, assembly steps and packing differ between models, so workstations and materials are arranged for the product being made. Staff remain responsible for material preparation, machine operation, product checks and handling problems at the workstation.
Equipment and work areas
Metalworking, injection moulding and final assembly occupy separate areas of the site, with parts transferred between operations. The additional assembly equipment serves a different purpose from machines used to produce plastic components.
After assembly, products move through checking, packing and finished-goods storage.
