Sourcing FAQ

Can we get samples for testing before our first order?

Yes. Samples are charged according to the product, and international courier costs are normally paid by the customer. After confirming the model and requirements, we will explain the sample fee, estimated preparation time and available shipping methods.

Can sample fees be refunded when we place a bulk order?

Sample fees may be refunded or credited against a subsequent bulk order that meets the conditions agreed by both parties. The arrangement will be stated when the formal order is confirmed.

Will bulk production follow the same standard as the sample?

Bulk production follows the product specifications, sample or written requirements finally confirmed by both parties. If the formal order changes materials, functions, colours, packaging or other configurations, the newly confirmed version applies.

Can we order below the usual bulk quantity?

We can assess the request. A quantity below the usual bulk level does not necessarily prevent production, but materials, labour, packaging and production costs are spread across fewer units, so the unit price is normally higher. Feasibility depends on the product and quantity.

Can you make samples of customized products?

Yes. Simple logo or packaging changes follow a different sample process from changes involving tooling, structure, electronics or functional development. We first confirm the scope, then determine whether a sample is needed, its cost and preparation time.

Is the minimum order quantity the same for every product?

No. Products differ substantially in size, materials, manufacturing processes, packaging and customization requirements. Minimum order quantities are therefore confirmed by model, rather than applying one number to every product.

Which products have a typical bulk quantity of around 3,000 units?

Around 3,000 units can be a reference for regular bulk orders of certain standard fan, electric kettle and other small-appliance models. The actual quantity depends on the model, colour, packaging and customization. It is not a fixed minimum for all small appliances.

Do air coolers, large humidifiers and larger kitchen appliances also require 3,000 units?

The same quantity does not apply. These products have different sizes, structures, packaging and transport requirements. Minimum production quantities are confirmed for the model, configuration and order. We can give a more accurate requirement after identifying the product.

Can we combine different models in one order?

Yes, but each model must meet its own basic production quantity. Minimum quantities may differ by product, colour, packaging and customization, so mixed orders are assessed against the actual combination.

Can different colours be produced together?

Mixed-colour production can usually be assessed. Whether each colour needs a separate minimum quantity depends on the materials and processes, such as coating or injection moulding. We confirm the arrangement after identifying the model.

What can you customize?

Logos, colours, packaging, labels, manuals, barcodes, plugs, voltage, accessories and some product functions can be assessed against your requirements. Changes to structure, tooling, electronics or core functions require further review of development conditions.

Does changing a logo, packaging or manual require new product development?

Usually not. Logos, labels, manuals and packaging are common branding changes. More extensive development may be needed when changes affect structure, tooling, core functions or major components.

Can you adapt voltage and plugs for my market?

Voltage, plugs and related configurations can be confirmed for the product and destination market. Electrical designs differ, so we check whether the existing specifications can be adjusted before issuing a formal quotation.

Can functions, accessories or appearance be changed?

Please share the specific changes. Some involve only settings, accessories or appearance; others involve tooling, electronics or new development. We review the product and scope before confirming feasibility, cost and timing.

How do you ensure customized production matches what we confirmed?

Before production, we compile a final confirmed version covering the model, specifications, colours, logo, packaging, manuals, accessories and other key requirements. Important changes are reconfirmed through samples, images or written specifications. Production and inspection follow that final version.

Why do you ask for the order quantity when quoting?

Quantity directly affects material purchasing, production planning, packaging and unit costs. Producing a few hundred units has a different cost structure from producing several thousand. A clear quantity helps us quote a price that can actually be fulfilled.

Why do you need to know the destination country or region?

Markets may require different voltage, plugs, packaging languages and compliance documents, all of which affect configuration and price. Knowing the destination early helps avoid repeated revisions.

What does a formal quotation normally include?

It normally specifies the model, key specifications, quantity, unit price, trade terms, payment terms, estimated lead time and quotation validity. Additional development, tooling or packaging costs for customized orders are listed separately.

What are the usual payment terms for bulk orders?

Regular bulk orders normally require a 30% deposit and a 70% balance. The deposit is paid after order confirmation to arrange production, and the balance is settled after completion and before shipment. Special arrangements follow the contract or order conditions confirmed by both parties.

Why does an older quotation need to be reconfirmed?

Changes in quantity, raw materials, packaging, configuration, exchange rates or trade terms may make an earlier quotation inapplicable. We check the final order conditions before you place the order to avoid disputes over an outdated price.

How long does sample preparation usually take?

Standard samples in stock usually take about 3–5 working days. Samples needing colour, logo, packaging or other changes usually take about 7–10 working days. Samples involving structure, tooling or functional development are scheduled separately for the project.

How long does a regular bulk order usually take?

As a general guide, regular bulk orders usually take about 25–35 days. Actual timing depends on product type, quantity, packaging, material preparation and the current production schedule. We confirm it for the specific order when it is placed.

Why does a first customized order usually take longer?

The first order often includes sampling, packaging approval, material preparation or development, so more time is needed, commonly about 30–45 days. Repeat orders without major changes are usually faster.

When does the production lead time start?

An order normally enters the production schedule once key items such as specifications, packaging, customization, order conditions and the deposit are confirmed. Lead time does not start with the first enquiry. The exact starting point follows the order or contract.

Can we change quantity, logos, packaging or specifications after confirming an order?

We can assess the request. If materials have already been purchased or production has started, changes may incur extra costs and affect the original delivery date. Earlier requests generally allow more flexibility.

Do all your products have CE certification?

No. Some products currently have CE and other relevant certification or test documentation, but availability must be checked by model. A certificate for one model does not represent the entire product range.

Can we review a model's existing certification and test documents before ordering?

Yes. Once the model is identified, you can review its existing certifications, test reports and related documents. Certification varies between models. If your destination market has specific requirements, these can be checked before order confirmation to avoid discovering a documentation mismatch after the product has been selected.

How do you check quality during production?

Regular controls include incoming quality control (IQC), in-process quality control (IPQC), finished-product power-on and functional checks (FQC), and pre-shipment sampling inspection (OQC). Appearance, assembly, packaging and other functional checks are added as needed for the product.

Can we inspect the goods ourselves or appoint SGS or BV?

Yes. Customers can arrange their own inspection or appoint a third party such as SGS or BV for pre-shipment inspection. Third-party inspection costs are normally paid by the customer. Timing must be coordinated with production and shipping plans in advance.

Will you tell us before changing important materials or components?

Yes. If a supplier change for important materials or components could affect performance, appearance, quality or compliance, we will notify the customer and obtain confirmation before using them.

Are most of your products made in your own factories?

Yes. We have our own factories and export sales team. Most products are made in our own factories, and our in-house export department directly handles overseas customers, orders and export business. A small number of special categories are supplemented by long-term partner factories to meet different product-line and market requirements.

Where do you usually ship from?

We currently arrange shipments mainly from Kashgar in Xinjiang, Guangdong and Zhejiang. For Central Asia and other markets suited to overland transport, Kashgar is normally the main dispatch point. Shipments may pass through Irkeshtam or another border crossing better suited to the final destination. Orders handled by our Guangdong company mainly travel by sea, usually through Guangzhou's Nansha Port. Some products handled by our Zhejiang company are manufactured using our own equipment in cooperation with local factories, and usually ship through Ningbo Port. The dispatch point depends on the product location, destination and transport method.

Which border crossing is normally used for overland shipments from Kashgar?

The crossing is selected according to the final destination, route and cargo. Irkeshtam is one commonly used option. If another crossing is more suitable, the transport plan can be adjusted accordingly.

Can we use our own freight forwarder?

Yes. You may appoint your own forwarder. Once you provide warehouse, contact or port-handling details, we coordinate handover under the agreed EXW, FOB or other trade terms.

What documents can you normally provide for shipment?

Depending on the order, we can provide a pro forma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list, sales contract and the certification or compliance documents actually available for the product. Specific certificates and reports must be checked by model.

What should we do first if we find defective units after delivery?

Please provide the order details, affected quantity and photos or videos showing the problem. We first establish the type and extent of the issue, then decide how to handle it.

How are confirmed product quality problems usually resolved?

Normal quantities of defective units are usually replaced with products or parts in the customer's next order. Larger quantities, serious issues or cases unsuitable for this arrangement are discussed separately according to the circumstances.

How long is the usual product warranty?

Most products normally have a whole-unit warranty of about 12 months. The exact period and starting point follow the product and order agreement.

What is covered by the warranty, and what is excluded?

The warranty mainly covers manufacturing defects in the product. Consumption of wear parts during normal use, natural wear and damage caused by improper handling are generally excluded from free warranty coverage.

How do you keep repeat orders consistent with the previously confirmed version?

Repeat orders use the previously confirmed specifications, packaging and order documents as their basis. Changes requested by the customer, or adjustments to important materials or components, are reconfirmed before production to avoid mixing old and new versions.
